Transparent Dialing
While most telephone solutions enjoy being geek-centric we were much more interested in designing for humans. It is hard to bring new technology with no changes, but our design philosophy was to make solutions seem natural.
On the top of our list is transparent dialing. The Multi-link TeleVoIP Stick reflects our design approach which is unique. The design enables calls to be placed over SkypeOut by dialing EXACTLY as you did before. This would allow anyone to pickup your phone and make calls at your reduced Skype rates. NO extra buttons to push. What a concept. This design also dials local calls automatically over the legacy phone connection. Further, this carries through with the ability to dial 911 which is dialed over the legacy telephone network-with no intervention by the user.
