Routing over Skype is completely automatic for long distance and local calls are directed over your phone line-with no change in dialing habits. Incoming calls over the phone line or Skype ring your phone, and calls can be placed on hold to answer incoming new calls-just like your traditional phone with 3-way calling. No other products make it so easy to enjoy the savings and benefits of Skype. (Dual mode alternatives all require user intervention and extra steps for use. This is not a dual mode solution, but a singular mode-just dial.)
The software is designed for operation with Microsoft Windows XP (all versions). All calls are guided by PC software. When the PC or application software is not available all calls default to the standard phone line. All emergency calls, 911 or other as programmed, are directed to the connected phone line.
