The PontiVoce Personal Telephone Gateway
The PontiVoce gateway software creates a personal telephone gateway in your Windows PC running Skype. Your Skype buddies can reach you, or others, at any phone and you can make international cell phone calls at your prevailing Skype rates, including free calls to your buddy list. PontiVoce puts your computer to work for you. And like all TeleVoce solutions, PontiVoce is software you own, not a monthly expense.
Skype from Your Mobile
For phone access to call out enter the phone numbers allowed, such as your cell phone. No one else can access. Conference calling is allowed. Call into your SkypeIn number and enter the number or numbers you wish to call, using Skype 2-digit speed dial or regular phone numbers. NO special requirements. Any phone that reports CallerID to Skype will work.
Let Your Buddies Always Find You
Your Skype buddies calling from anywhere can use the free PontiVoce Client software to initiate a call. You control all access to your Skype. You select Skype buddies who can use Skype to call you. Now they can reach you (or others) at any phone - your home, your office, your cell, etc. The free client software requests a call to the desired phone number. Both PCs must be logged on to Skype. You may select to limit calls by country code or allow any call to be placed.
Other Uses
You can use PontiVoce software to ring your phone when not near your PC. Now you can take calls conveniently on your regular phone(s), so there is no need to be able to hear PC speakers to receive a Skype call. No hardware required. Simply allow your selected contacts to call your phone using your Skype. And when you are on the go, you can be reached on your mobile phone.
Family
Within the constraints of the Skype Terms of Service, a family member could allow use for family members who cannot have SkypeOut service, or where purchasing SkypeOut is not practical for others. This may also serve family members in countries where the government may restrict calling.
Traveling
When traveling you can buy a SkypeIn number in the country you are visiting for access from local phones that would connect to your PC for making calls. While traveling you can also use a second Skype account and call to your PC and use the outgoing calling capability. It's your PC and your Skype.

Specific Use Notes
The PontiVoce Personal Telephone Gateway software is designed for use in a Skype compatible PC running Windows XP. Callers who are authorized to use your PC to place calls need a separate client software application. This client is included in the software download at purchase and it can also be downloaded anytime at no cost.
Calls are setup as conference calls. The mobile gateway allows multiple parties, only restricted by the number of parties allowed by Skype. When calling from your mobile, you are one call and the PC is one, leaving the remainder for conferencing form your remote. For standard Skype, that is three (5 - 2) for a total of four on a conference call from your mobile phone. Calls can be restricted to specific countries or all countries allowed.

Full operation (mobile phone gateway) employs a proprietary audio driver that is designed for standard XP audio. (Although originally designed for Windows 2000, current versions have not been tested.) Compatibility on any PC can be verified with a free download of our answering machine software. The PontiVoce software message center (answering machine) has been designed and tested for standard PC audio (mic/spkr) channel (not USB audio). Some HD audio systems may not offer full operation, such as the mobile gateway. Please test before purchasing.
